I suppose I must apologize.

I'm afraid the transformations this past week have been due to uncontrolled magic. Apparently my cuff activated as I was casting an unusually powerful transmutation spell and with neither a mind to direct it nor a Weave for it to dissipate into as it would have done in my world, it earthed itself randomly all over the compound.

Fortunately for everyone here, the spell - which would have been permanent if it had taken effect for its intended purpose - lasted only a week... *insert magi-babble here that essentially goes into most of the detail found here; he's just showing off now*

And now I think I'm going to go hide somewhere and stay invisible for a week.

Hmm, interesting, I suppose there are many reasons to be happy for this information. Here I was thinking this was a random occurance that happened on an irregular basis. I am relieved to find it actually had a source and was itself an accident.

I suppose if we had a proper system of communication rather than this woefully inadequate system currently in place, we may have been able to warn everyone in advance.

I rather doubt it, honestly. Magic like this generally goes into effect too quickly for warnings to be of much help.
